Helen’s Story
My mum Diana was a constant source of absolute love, kindness and sunshine in the 30 years we had together and I miss her daily.
Her passing was shockingly quick - two weeks after Cancer was diagnosed, she was gone. I made it home in time to have five hospital bound days of talks, hugs, tears and finally to say goodbye when her heart stopped beating.
I was taken aback by the new grief I felt on having my son a few years later - her first grandchild… and then surprised again with more on having my second. I am so sad she is not here to share their lives but endlessly grateful to her for being such a wonderful Mum.
I will never stop loving and missing her.
